Princesa (SC) is located in the far west of Santa Catarina and has around 3,000 residents. Its economy is driven by agriculture and livestock, along with the presence of the SOLLOS. industrial unit, which directly employs 450 people.

The town was colonized by Italian and German immigrants — today, about half the population descends from them, and many children still learn German from an early age. Local traditions remain strong through annual cultural events such as Kerbfest, the Italian Dinner, Costelão (a traditional barbecue), and the Heifer Fair, all held in September.

Princesa has two schools (one municipal and one state-run), a daycare center, and infrastructure that meets the local demand with quality and care. For university students, free transportation is available to UNOESC in São Miguel do Oeste.
